Because of my grandmothers linoleum covered kitchen floor I bought this printed box of stroopwafels from Netherland. It has the exact same illustrations on it, like the patterned old floor. I never had these caramels filled waffles before and was quite surprised how tasty they are.

I've read, that they traditionally have a 10 cm radius and were served with warm drinks, so they can be put on the top of the cup, to melt the caramel inside. Not bad, eh?
