I must admit, I love my coffee to go! My job as a self-employed graphic-designer requires to be often on the road, have meetings or getting work material. A warm coffee is always a beloved companion. Using public transportation I never liked to carry my dirty travel mug the whole day with me around, after it was empty. BUT – This is huge! We produce this giant amount of garbage – 320.000 paper cups / hour – only in Germany. Imagine worldwide! And it is not only producing less waste, we also have the resource wastage of a small city, producing this paper cup, yearly.
The great thing is, many cafés are willing to refill your travel mug. So you can use it more often than just once a day.
